This is a very common question or objection, regardless of what company you are involved with. This question always surfaces. And my advice would be to address it quickly and move-on!

A pyramid scheme is something designed. Where it is of the utmost importance to get in early and bring in as many people as possible so you can get paid. Ultimately in a pyramid scheme the people who get in last lose everything!

When choosing an MLM to get involved with one should do their homework. Is the company a reputable? Do they have a product or service that you believe in? Are you willing to be committed for the long haul? Are you looking for a get rich quick scheme or gimmick? Last but least the compensation plan! Does it make sense? How & when will you get paid?

You must do your due diligence and choose what's best for you. I can tell you from experience though that most of the time people who even ask this question are interested but the also tend to make waves and require extra attention. Present yourself and not your product. Sell yourself and this objective won't even be an issue.
